FOURTH WING
(maddie's version)
I narrate, edit, engineer, cast, direct, produce, & present chapter-by-chapter dramatic readings of Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros -- plus, I portray the heroine, Violet Sorrengail. I'm really proud of my work and am thrilled to share it with anyone who will listen. Just... maybe listen with headphones when you get to the spicier scenes, like act 3 of Chapter 22.
It hits different than a regular audiobook, or even a dramatized one, like Graphic Audio. Because this is Maddie's Version, I'm gonna slightly change the words on the page to make a Taylor Swift lyric reference, score the first dragon flight sequence to a thumping heavy metal track, and use sound effects to put the listener in Violet's POV as opposed to having the action scenes read aloud. Check the comments for proof that the fandom's not just on board, they're salivating for more.
The entire operation runs from my apartment in Brooklyn. Honestly, it's just an elaborate ruse to force all my friends to call me Violet and play Fourth Wing with me. I cast my talented voiceover actor friends as the other characters, have them send me .mp3 or .wav files, and cut it all together myself using the Adobe Suite (with music and sound effects licensed by MotionArray). This is a passion project, for fun and fandom only, not for profit. I spend almost all of my off-hours working on 4wmv, and it would be the honor and privilege of my life to spend my on-hours working on the upcoming adaptation. In truth, I can't do anything else with my time. This series haunts ME. Can you tell?
Check out this quick pitch video I put together to convince anyone and everyone (but especially author & EP Rebecca Yarros and showrunner Moira Walley-Beckett) why I'm the perfect person to hire on the Fourth Wing tv show.

Coming up with this concept and getting to voice F.R.I.D.A.Y.? Probably the coolest thing I've ever done. Even if the agency I worked for at the time took credit for the idea. As a lifelong Marvel freak, I was just happy to be saying "Greetings, Mr. Stark."
What if... you, the viewer, were Iron Man himself, Tony Stark? I pitched and co-wrote this series of short-form videos where the viewer "puts on" Tony Stark's Iron Man helmet to design mech suits for the Avengers, MCU heroes, and even a villain. It's a short series for kids that uses real life science to inspire prototype augmentations for new battle suits. Behold, the fruits of my labor:

As far as I'm concerned, Star Trek invented fandom as we know it! Needless to say, it was a fangirl's dream come true to work on such an incredible legacy franchise with Paramount+. I mean, watching the trailer I produced for Star Trek: Picard in a standing-room only Comic Con panel surrounded by the fandom and getting their reactions in real time? I'll never forget that. With my skills as a creative director, writer, producer, and more, I helped create all kinds of Trek content, making sure I was engaging with the fandom and doing right by Starfleet standards. As Astra Per Aspera.

THAT GIRL & THAT OTHER GIRL
That Girl & That Other Girl is a YouTube channel created by myself and my best friend, Kendall Kemp. Years before we met in acting school, we both fell in love with the romantasy genre because of the Twilight saga -- in completely different ways. I was Team Edward, she was Team Jacob. I loved the movies, she couldn't stand them. Even so, Twilight had both of us in chokeholds for years, so when Midnight Sun was published in 2020, we found ourselves once again unconditionally and irrevocably obsessed.
We published vlogs and recapped Midnight Sun (Twilight from Edward Cullen's POV) chapter by chapter from the perspective of lifetime fans who are more than happy to acknowledge the problematic elements of this saga -- as long as we recognize its potency of its box-office catnip. "Thots on Midnight Sun" is post a #MeToo analysis of how Twilight embodied what all teen girls really want -- to get d*cked down and die on your own terms. The sparkly vampire book is actually a horror story about getting knocked up by your high school boyfriend and dying in childbirth. Let's talk about it.

My work on Frasier is a great example of my multihyphenate creative skills crossing paths and coming in handy. In addition to my role as Supervising Producer for all promos, activations, stunts, key art, motion graphics, design, OOH, and more in anticipation of the reboot, I got to be the voice of several campaign spots, all recorded from my home booth in Brooklyn.

I oversaw production and assisted with creative direction on trailers, promos, key art shoots, retags, and more for the following shows.

I was thrilled to be the signature voice of YouTube's Original music series "This Week On Released," where I got to tease episodes with Megan Thee Stallion, BLACKPINK, Miley Cyrus, and more (full series available upon request.)

My first ever national VO campaign will always have a soft spot in my heart... because my then-boyfriend, now-husband David is the voice of the groom in these promos and bumpers for Lifetime Movie Network's 'Unhappily Ever After' movie marathon! He plays hockey and works in tech, so it was also his first ever national VO campaign. Which is totally fair and cool.

And here are some more promos and spots, just because:
